Holy Freakout Batman!!!
For a while now people have been asking me to make a device that you could plug other instruments into and get freaky with. After much thought and deep consideration, I present to you the “TTT” Analog Delay Theresynth™. It’s a brand-new, modified, BBE “Two Timer” delay pedal (which is actually an excellent sounding & very well-built pedal) with 2 independent delay times, “Bucket Brigade Delay” circuitry and true-bypass.

It’s based on the 70′s “Boss DM-2″ with it’s haunting and toneful delays. The graphics are very funky-retro too. The “TTT” is signed, dated and numbered inside and is a truly unique sounding, must-have pedal – I can’t stop playing with it!!!

What Does It Do?
You can use the pedal by itself with the little, touch-sensitive, input trigger, which makes it self-oscillate into sonic explosion oblivion. Then turn on the photo-cell theremin to control the speed with your hand or foot, for way out swells and crazy pitch-bending. Plug in the instrument of your choice and experience an ethereal wave of sonic textures that morph into anything your mind can think of. I tweaked the circuit for maximum freak-out levels and added a high-quality photocell and switch. Also included is the little, red Switchcraft trigger, box, manual & even a 9V AC adaptor! This thing is ready to take you into Outerspace and beyond, so don’t miss out!

ST is for stainless-steel, that’s what this little monster is made of. ST-1 is a handmade, battery-powered (1-9V) mini, analog, synth with photocell theremin – or simply, a Theresynth™. She has a 1/4″ output, built-in speaker & spaced-out, analog sounds. built to last in a solid, brushed-stainless-steel case, with Moog knobs, high-quality photocell, on/off switch, red LED, rubber feet and battery compartment (a first for my devices). ST-1′s knobs control speed & range, the photocell controls pitch and the LED corresponds to the oscillations. ST-1 is a new, tabletop/hand-held design, set up for maximum playability and is portable enough to take anywhere you want to make noise. I won’t be making more of this model as the case is practically bulletproof, making it difficult to drill (ST could also mean Sweat & Tears in this case). (#001) – a handmade, battery-powered (1-9V), mini Theresynth™ with 1/4″ output, built-in speaker & incredibly spaced-out, analog sounds. “HC” is built to last in an indestructible, early 60′s bakelite “Heathkit Condenser Substitution Box” (model IN-22), with Moog knobs, high-quality photocell, momentary trigger and red LED. It has a unmistakable, 60′s space vibe. The knobs control range & speed, the photo-cell controls pitch and the LED corresponds to the oscillations. “HC” is a fun, vintage, hand-held design – you can chirp like a bird, scratch or beep & boop like R2D2 anywhere you want. HC’s electronics are brand new, but the casing is almost 50 years old, so it has a couple of minor scratches and one broken screw on the right-hand top corner. Other than that, she’s a beautiful piece, signed, dated and numbered #001. Don’t miss out, because there won’t be another like it!

Flying high again ::
Presenting the last of a series of saucer-shaped devices, “UFO 2″ – a handmade, retrofuturistic, UFO/Theresynth™. My fully analog circuit is built into this solid chrome disc, with a wild, bright orange indicator light (that’s very dynamic & built into sturdy 3-point, chrome base). It’s also got a high-quality photocell to control the pitch, an on/off Moog knob (lower) that controls the oscillation speed and another Moog knob that controls the range (upper). There’s a 1/4″ output for recording and live performance and a built-in speaker for playing on-the-go. Because of it’s unique, UFO shape, it’s not as loud by itself as some of my other models, but sounds fantastic & raspy through an amp with some delay and strobe-light for good measure. It has a very wide tonal range, alot of pitch control, and is tons fun to play, especially when you pretend to be flying in Outerspace. In the clip I play it through a solid state amp with delay. “UFO 2″ is the first of it’s kind, #001, signed and dated inside. The alien-green plastic bottom is easily removable for changing the battery and checking out the circuitry. Be the first and only earthling to take an unforgettable journey with “UFO 2″.
