Behold the Shiny Little Beast ::
ST is for stainless-steel, that’s what this little monster is made of. ST-1 is a handmade, battery-powered (1-9V) mini, analog, synth with photocell theremin – or simply, a Theresynthâ„¢. She has a 1/4″ output, built-in speaker & spaced-out, analog sounds. built to last in a solid, brushed-stainless-steel case, with Moog knobs, high-quality photocell, on/off switch, red LED, rubber feet and battery compartment (a first for my devices). ST-1′s knobs control speed & range, the photocell controls pitch and the LED corresponds to the oscillations. ST-1 is a new, tabletop/hand-held design, set up for maximum playability and is portable enough to take anywhere you want to make noise. I won’t be making more of this model as the case is practically bulletproof, making it difficult to drill (ST could also mean Sweat & Tears in this case). So don’t miss out on this one-of-a-kind device, signed, dated and numbered #001.
