The sonic playground for creative types
Chamber of Sounds builds unique, space-age, electronic, sound-art devices in the heart of downtown Tucson, AZ. Jamie Laboz is the mad scientist behind the creations and builds them all by hand with the help of fellow musician, Chris Nast. We take lots of pride in the quality of our work and strive to make fun, artful instruments that are truly unique and useful for non-traditional creations and otherworldly sonic explorations.
Chamber of Sounds devices are owned & used by…
• Ad Rock of The Beastie Boys
• Dimitri Manos of Dr.Dog
• The Blue Man Group
• Martin Gore of Depeche Mode
• Joey Burns of Calexico
• Jeppe Knudsen of Giant Sand
• Stephen Merrit of The Magnetic Fields
• Dubsteb pioneer, The Bug
• Glee & Lady Ga Ga producer, Robert L. Smith
• Kylie Minogue & Goldfrappe producer, Pascal Gabriel
